Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jeremy and my purpose is to help you maximize your potential by positively and lovingly sharing my experiences with you. I believe the more we connect with others and build each other up is how we can continue to make the world a better place. But just like Mother Teresa shared, it all starts with us “sweeping our own porch.”
Inner growth has always fueled me. Reading. Writing. Experiencing. And connecting with others have all guided me along my own personal journey for growth. Having never met my birth father, this drive to be the best version of me has helped me to flip what could be seen by some as detrimental to a positive driving force in my life.
As I grew older, I began to understand this driving force better and became more aware of the difference between using it to “prove to others” who I am and being the best version of me, for me.
I’ve been able to let go of the “I’m not good enough” and “why didn’t he love me” thoughts and patterns that restricted me and confined me to limited beliefs growing up.
Ultimately, these patterns and ways of thinking limited my ability to Love.
About 10 years ago I sent an email to my birth father forgiving him for leaving my Mom and I and also letting him know I understood that he had made a decision at that time he thought was best for him. I still get the same goosebumps today (when recalling this moment) as I did that day after hitting “send” on that email.
I’d written it to him, but ultimately, it was for me.
The lightness I immediately felt was 30 years of stuck energy and a weight that I’d chosen (knowingly and unknowingly) to hold on to for so long released.
Looking back, this was when I truly became Aware of the mindset of life either happening to me or of life happening for me.
The positivity instilled and passed down to me from my Mom has helped me see life as happening For me.
Looking for a learning (growth) opportunity within every circumstance, good or bad, that I face is part of my process for self growth.
The struggles, mistakes, and poor decisions are all part of this process too. And I’ve definitely made plenty of those.
The inner desire and fire to be my best me acknowledges both the good and bad, both the highs and lows, and both the peaks and valleys in order to continuously improve. They are all needed. Without one, there could not be the other.
With Love leading the way, I’ll continue to connect with others, listen, experience, read, and write to truly maximize my potential.
I’m excited, humbled and grateful to share my experiences with you across posts, blogs and programs that will guide you along your own journey and ultimately help you and I both be our best versions of ourselves.
With Much Love,
Jeremy Jones
